Open a new window, background set to white.
Type text
Don't click on the window to clear the selected text.
Click on Image/Special Effects/Add Drop Shadow on the menu bar, and add a drop shadow, opacity set to 255, blur set to 36, vertical and horizontal set to 0, using the color of your choice.
Select the 'selection tool.'
Right click on the image to clear the selection
Left click on the image to make a selection.
Select SELECTIONS/INVERT from the menu bar
Add another drop shadow. Use the same settings, but change the shadow color.
Right click with selection tool to clear selection.
Select IMAGE/EDGE FILTERS/FIND HORIZONTAL EDGES from the menu bar.
Just before you "find the horizontal edges" do not clear the selection. The filter will only work on the selection, leaving the rest of the window white. You can then turn the background transparent.
Try different color combinations!
